Where to begin?

Well, I'm not quite sure where to begin in what will be my first of many blog posts. As I stated in my intro, there will be plenty of thoughts about sports and hunting, that is for sure. There may also be some thoughts/discussions in regards to the financial institution industry, just because I spend such a considerable portion of my life dealing with banks. Who knows, some of that talk may even be insightful, but I'll leave that up to those who follow the blog (if anyone even does) to decide.

In addition to the things I've outlined above, it will also be a way for friends and family to keep up to date with the latest happenings with Debbie and I (and get in touch with us). For those that haven't heard/seen, Debbie and I recently purchased a home in Rogers, MN (I'll try to post a few pictures). As I'm sure every other homeowner can imagine, there is a lot of work to be done on any home, even a new-construction home like ours. If anyone has any interest in helping with landscaping or laying sod, please don't hesitate to let us know! Despite my feelings on the overall idea of the first-time homebuyer credit, it sure was nice to take advantage of it. Without it, we probably wouldn't have bought the house we did!

Well, I'll keep the first post to the blog short and sweet. Hopefully as time goes on and I get more things posted, the followers will come. I'm going to go with the Field of Dreams School of thought in that "If you build it, they will come"...I guess we'll have to see. Spread the word.
